Why I Built HWS
One clinician. One standard. Enough time.
After more than twenty years as a Board Certified Hearing Instrument Specialist — and after starting my career under mentors who helped define personalized hearing care — I began my career in a field that was going in the opposite direction, with hearing care being monetized down to the patient care level.
Appointments got shorter. Follow-ups got capped. Fittings were rushed. Options became limited. Providers had to enter contracts, agreements and partnerships that came at expense of freedom - to them and their patients.
Too many people left with devices that never sounded like them.
So I built Hearing Wellness Solutions as a boutique solo practice in Boca Raton.
This is not a retail floor and it is not a high-volume clinic. It is my personal commitment to the people who trust me with their hearing.

My career began in a family practice that treated hearing care as healthcare, not a transaction. I was mentored by Dr. Ernest Zelnick and his son Dr. Mark Zelnick — two pioneers in Audiology whose standard was simple: know the person, measure carefully, keep the oath - provide best & honest care, stay with them for the whole journey.
That is the standard I still practice.
How I Practice Today
I verify fittings. I use Real Ear Measurement so we are not guessing at what your devices are doing in your ear.
I explain results in plain language. And if something is wrong — an uncomfortable fit, a program that sounds harsh or hollow — we take the time to get it right.
Often the devices you already own can be rescued. When they cannot, you will know why.

The relationship does not end at the fitting. Hearing changes. Life changes. Devices need care. You are not rotated to a new provider, and you will not be told to wait for the next annual evaluation. You stay with me, and I am here for you.
