Hearing Aid Test Drive

Hearing Aid Test Drive

Our Services

Hear the difference where it matters

You wouldn’t buy a car without a test drive — so why choose hearing aids any other way?

Hearing aids should be judged in your kitchen, your car, and your favorite restaurant — not in a quiet office. With the Hearing Aid Test Drive, you take home devices programmed to your hearing and live with them for up to 30 days before you decide.

You come back with real observations, and we refine from there — together. Confidence should come from experience, not from a brochure.

What to Expect

A full hearing evaluation and an unhurried conversation first

Devices programmed to your prescription before you leave

Up to 30 days to try them in your own routine

Follow-up visits to fine-tune everything you noticed

Why a Test Drive

Decide at your own speed

People rarely ignore a change in their vision, yet hearing loss is often put off for years. A calm, no-pressure trial makes that first step feel easy.

It is hard to judge a hearing aid in a quiet room. Putting it to work in the places where you struggle — dinner out, family gatherings, the TV at home — is the honest way to know which technology is right for you.

Beyond sound quality, your test drive lets you explore the everyday details:

Smartphone apps that let you adjust your listening on the go

Rechargeable or replaceable batteries — whichever fits your routine

Comfort and fit through a full day of wear

Different styles and technology levels, side by side

How It Works

Three simple steps, one relationship

You work with me from the first conversation to the final fitting — no hand-offs, no rushing, just steady support while you find what works.

Step 1

Get to know your hearing

We start with your story and a full hearing evaluation, including how well you hear speech. Then we go over every result together and answer all your questions.

Step 2

Take them home

If hearing aids can help, you leave with a trial set custom-programmed to your hearing — then take up to 30 days to wear them at work, at dinner, and everywhere in between.

Step 3

Fine-tune and decide

At your follow-up, we talk through what you noticed and review your usage data. We adjust settings or try another option until you feel sure — then fit you with your own devices.

After you decide, care continues: regular clean-and-check visits keep your devices at their best, with periodic hearing checks to catch any changes early.

Make Sure It’s a Fit

Try it out,
test it out,
work it out,
play it out,
live it out.

Put your hearing aids to work in the places you actually live. Every moment you test them in helps us fine-tune them to you.

Before You Start

A few honest things to know

Give your brain time to adjust

Hearing aids don’t work like glasses. Sounds you haven’t heard in a while can feel new at first — that’s normal, and exactly why a trial period matters.

No single aid fits everyone

The model you read about online may not match your hearing profile. Your hearing is as unique as a fingerprint — we match technology to you, not the other way around.

Your notes are the secret

Jot down where things sounded great and where they didn’t. Those real-life notes are what let me fine-tune your settings with precision.

No Pressure, Ever

Your decision, on your terms

“Choosing hearing aids is a big step — and a personal one. I want you to feel absolutely, positively right before you commit.”

I explain every detail of your trial up front, so there are no surprises. Whether you keep the hearing aids after your test drive or not, I am here to support your hearing for the long run — in my office or at your home.

Questions

Test drive FAQs

How long is the test drive?

Up to 30 days. That’s enough time to wear your hearing aids through a full range of everyday moments, with follow-up visits along the way.

Can I try more than one style?

Yes. Depending on your hearing and lifestyle, you can compare different styles and technology levels to find the one that feels right.

What does the test drive cost?

Every situation is a little different, so I walk you through all the details of your trial in person — before you take anything home. No surprises.

What if they don’t feel right?

That’s exactly what the trial is for. We adjust settings, try a different option, or rethink the approach until you feel confident.

Can we meet at my home?

Absolutely. I offer both office visits in Boca Raton and at-home appointments — whichever is more comfortable for you.

What happens after I decide?

You’re fitted with your own devices, and our relationship continues with regular clean-and-check visits and periodic hearing checks.

Not sure where to start?

Call or text 561-528-1021 and we will talk it through — office visit or at-home appointment, whichever suits you.
